Live Breeding Policy
Our breeding fees are listed on the herd sire page. We request to keep your goat at least 30 days and possibly up to 45 days to ensure breeding.
Your goat is guaranteed to be bred and we will even guarantee a live birth. If your goat suffers an abortion we will rebreed for you. We want you to be happy. In this case you will have to pay a $1 per day boarding fee to help with feed cost. If you wait longer than 4 1/2 months from conception date to contact us we will not rebreed for you. You should know by then if your goat is pregnant or not. We also have a Preg-tone we can use to ensure pregnancy after 30-45 days from conception and is free of charge. Refunds will not be given on breeding fees unless the buck becomes sterile.
In order to keep our boer herd free of disease, your doe must not have any signs of runny eyes, nose, scours, or parasites-external or internal, and must appear fit. She should be de-wormed and de-loused one week prior to delivery at our farm. We will inspect her to ensure she is healthy. She will be placed in a holding pen until we conduct fecal testing. We will also use a preg-tone to ensure she is not already bred.
Your doe must be at least 9 months old and of appropriate size for breeding.
The breeding fee is due when the doe arrives.
All breedings will receive service memo.
